High cost of production, scarcity of labour, fluctuation in prices and non-availability of planting material were the major constraints faced by redgram growers in the region. Whereas high Minimum Support Price for redgram, reduction in the cost of inputs and more of Government subsidies were major suggestions expressed by the redgram growers.
