Abstract
Marek's disease (MD) is of great
significance amongst infectious diseases
of poultry, especially in layers, causing
great economic losses. Diagnosis of MD
can be made routinely based on clinical
signs and postmortem lesions. There are
number of serological diagnostic methods
to detect MD viral antigen. In the present
study, counter lmmuno electrophoresis
(CIE) was used for confirming the MD virus
infection in poultry.
