Abstract
A four year old female sulphur crested cockatoo was brought for postmortem examination with the history of sudden death. Gross examination revealed reddish consolidated lungs, cloudy air sacs, congested meninges and intestine. Intestinal lumen contained light reddish mucoid contents with tapeworm segments. The tapeworm segments were identified as Raillietina sp.
