Abstract
A field experiment was conducted on sandy loam soil of Main Spices
Research Station, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University,
. Jagudan during rabi season of year 2002-03 to the study the "Response of
ajwain (Trachyspermwn ammi L.) to spacings under varying levels of nitrogen
and phosphorus." Twenty four treatments comprising of three levels of spacing
viz., 30, 45 and 60 em, four levels of nitrogen viz., 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg ha·1 and
two levels of phosphorus viz., 0 and 20 kg ha-1 were evaluated in split plot
design with four replications, keeping spacing in main plot and combination of
nitrogen and phosphorus in sub-plots
