Abstract
Woman has always formed an inseparable part of society and culture.
Since time immemorial women have significant contribution in almost every
aspects of our society. Generally, they have been considered as the decision
makers of the families which they take independently or in consultation with
their husbands or with the heads of the families. Besides having an anchoring
role in the management of their families, women equally participate in different
economic activities like crop production, vegetable cultivation, fruit crop
raising, livestock management, pisciculture etc.
