Abstract
The weekly survey was carried out in vegetable markets of Palanpur
and Deesa of Banaskantha districts and orchards of AICRP on Arid fruits,
S. D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar during the year 2005-2006.
The results of survey revealed the association of Aspergillus niger gr,
Aspergillus wentii gr and Bollyodiplodia sp. with aonla fruit rot. The average
incidence of 7.21, 3.53, 2.46 and 1.02 per cent was observed due to A. niger,
A. wentii, Botryodiplodia sp. and Boron deficiency in vegetable markets and
orchards, respectively.
