Abstract
The study on the impact of lCAR—Network Project on Sheep Improvement
(Madras Red field unit) aims to understand the profile of the scheme beneficiaries
and the impact of the project on knowledge level and adoption of improved sheep
farming practices. It also attempts to assess the economic, technological and
socio-psychological impact of the project, its overall impact on sheep productivity
in the constituent villages and to identify the constraints encountered by the
beneficiaries in sheep rearing along with solutions to mitigate them.
