Abstract
The present study was undertaken to assess the clinical outcome of silk fibroin and chitosan loaded silver nanoparticles and evaluation of wound healing by clinical and histopathological studies in dogs. The study was conducted in twelve clinical cases of non-healing extensive open wounds in different breeds of dogs of either sex which were presented to Small Animal Out Patient Unit of Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital. The animals were divided into two groups of six animals each.
