IMMUNE MEDIATED HEMOLYTIC ANAEMIA IN DOGS

Abstract
The aim of the study was to study the incidence of IMHA in dogs, clinico -pathological changes and to evaluate various therapeutic protocols for the clinical management of lMHA in dogs. Suspected anaemic dogs brought with clinical signs such as pale or icteric mucous membranes were screened for IMHA by saline agglutination test, sphereocyte count and flow eytometry. Thirty two cases confirmed by flow cytometry were subjected for detailed clinical examination including physical examination, hematology, serum biochemistry, Coagulation profiles, abdominal ultrasound and radiography.
