Abstract
Mathematical modelling of growth performance in Large White Yorkshire pigs was carried out using age wise body weight data of Large White Yorkshire pigs maintained at Pig Breeding Unit of Post Graduate Research Institute in
Animal Sciences (PGRIAS), Kattupakkam. The age wise data for the period of six years from 2011 to 2016 data were utilized for this study. The body weight at various ages, viz., at birth, weaning, 120 days, 180 days, 240 days of weight for both males and females, absolute growth rates for different age intervals were also
estimated.
