Abstract
A Study was carried out to assess the quality of drinking water for
livestock in Vellore district. Two blocks viz Sholingur and Walajah were selected. Under Sholingur block, Sholingur (V1) and Kodaikkal (V2) villages were selected
and Manthangal (V3) and Pulianthangal (V4) villages were selected under
Walajah blocks, The selected villages were in close proximity to textile, tannery
and other industries.
