Abstract
The chicken by virtue of its relative nutritional value, health benefits, flavor, availability and cost is the meat of choice for all classes and age groups of people throughout the world. However in recent days,due to increased consumer awareness and alarming reports of residues and antimicrobial resistance in meat the consumer's preference are drifting towards consumption of antibiotic free and organic meat.
