Abstract
Azolla is a protein rich low cost feed ingredient, easily available at farmer's doorstep, as an
alternate protein source. Considering this, an experiment was conducted at farmers field with 100 numbers of one week old Vanaraja chicks randoinlv divided into three groups of control (CP- 16 %, Without azolla - T1), CP — 15.5 % with azolla @ 9 g / day (T2) and CP
- 15% , with azolla @ 18 g / day (T3) to assess the effect of feeding fresh azolla with reduced CP level in the growth performance of vanaraja chicks in juvenile stage.
