Abstract
Examination of Haemonchus contortus infected ovine faecal cultures revealed
morphologically variant H. contortus larvae in the cumulus of normal infective larvae. One
larva had a bidigitate tail sheath, bifurcated into two unequal finger-like processes from the
tail tip. The other larva had double tail, one larger than the other.
