Abstract
A large number of people eat less fruits than they need and suffers from many disease. This is mainly due to lack of knowledge about fruits and value addition. Value addition and processing in arid horticultural crops is an age old practice. Most of locally available fruits more preserved for longer period with minimum moisture or with oil and salt as preservation. Imparting the knowledge about fruits and value addition, training is the best way of communicating information as all the senses are used which makes learning more effective.
