Abstract
India is the second largest producer of vegetable in the world next only to China. The onion, tomato, pea and potato are the major vegetable crops of Rajasthan. The present investigation was carried out to study the growth rates, cost structure, returns, resource use efficiency and constraints in production of potato. The study was conducted in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. One tehsil viz. Sriganganagar, out of nine tehsils was selected on the basis of highest area under potato production.
