Abstract
The present investigation entitled “Variability, Divergence and Character Association Study in Pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.] Genotypes Under Hyper Arid Condition”was carried out with 26 genotypes for 10 characters. The material was evaluated in randomized block design with three replications at ARS, Bikaner during kharif, 2014. Analysis of variance indicated that sufficient amount of genetic variability was present among the genotypes for all characters used in the study. Both GCV and PCV were observed high for harvest index (%) and grain yield per plant (g). High GCV along with heritability and genetic advance was observed for harvest index (%) and grain yield per plant (g).
