Abstract
The camel rearing communities in Rajasthan are witnessing the degradation
of livelihood which they were doing from decades. Camels which were
previously used for transportation of goods and men are now not a viable
option due to affordability of fossil fuel transportation. National Research
Center for Camel, Bikaner in its report emphasizes the commercialization of
camel milk so that camel rearers can earn a decent and regular income. In
this context, the present investigation entitled ―Entrepreneurship Development
Model for Camel Milk in Rajasthan‖ was undertaken with the objectives of (1)
Study of present scenario of camel milk in Rajasthan, (2) Study of different
possible models for marketing of camel milk, and (3) To design
entrepreneurial development model for camel milk marketing.
