Abstract
Zebrafish is one of the emerging alternative models in screening of toxic
substances and the results obtained can be extrapolated to other mammals
including human being. This model is being observed and the data generated
in this model is considered for risk assessment by the various regulatory
agencies. Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid. It finds wide application as
pesticides in agriculture and in household insecticides like mosquito repellents.
