Abstract
The present investigation on “Effect of gibberellic acid, potassium nitrate and silicic acid on fruit development and storage life of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum MILL.)” was conducted at Main Vegetable Research Station and Department of Biochemistry, B. A. college of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during Kharif-Rabi, 2011-12 to determine the effects of different concentrations of gibberellic acid (GA3), potassium nitrate (KNO3) and silicic acid on growth, yield, plant protection parameters, biochemical and molecular attributes of tomato in field for fruit development study as well as in the laboratory for storage life study.
