The CFC filtrates of L. bulgaricus and L. acidophilus were tested for their antibacterial enteropathogenic Staphylococcus aureus enterotoxin induced fluid accumulation in rabbit ileal loops. Both exhibited antagonistic effect against S. aureus growth in the rabbit ileum, thereby presenting the elaboration of toxin and fluid accumulation in the rabbit ileal loop.
