Abstract: A trial was conducted to assess the growth performance of lambs under intensive, continuous and rotational grazing systems of management at University Research Farm, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-51. Thirty numbers of Non- descript ewe lambs around 4-5 months of age were randomly selected and allotted to three treatment groups: T1 (Intensive system - control), T2 (Rotational grazing) and T3 (Continuous grazing). An artificial pasture was developed with Panincum maximum (Guinea grass), Stylosanthus sp., Desmanthus sp., and Cenchrus ciliaris (Buffel grass) for the lambs under grazing systems.
