Abstract: The experiment was conducted at Department of Agricultural Entomology, College of Agriculture Latur, during December- January 2012-2013, in randomized block design with ten treatments and three replications. Disease free layings of silkworm multivoltine race of Pure Mysore were utilized. The treatments were leaves of M-5(100%), V-l (100%), S-36(100%), M-5 + V-l(60 % +40%), M-5 + V-l(40% + 60%), S-36 + V-l(60 % + 40%), S-36 + V-l(40 % + 60%), M-5 + S -36 (60 % + 40%), M-5 + S- 36(40% + 60%), M-5 + V-l + S-36(in equal proportions). The observations were recorded on the biology and different economic traits of Pure Mysore race. The biological parameters and all the economic traits of silkworm were found to be superior in the case of those larvae which were reared on 100% leaves of V-l, compared to 100 % leaves of M-5 (control treatment).
