Abstract: On the basis of the results emanated from present investigation conducted during kharif 2016, it can be concluded that maize hybrid HQPM-5 found better suited as it gave the higher grain yield (5271 kg ha-1), net return (73576 ha-1) and B C ratio (2.96). Plant population of 1,00,000 plants ha-1 gave the higher grain yield (5239 kg ha-1), net return (72972 ha-1) and B C ratio (2.92). Highest grain yield (5447 kg ha-1) and net return recorded with the application of STCR. However, highest the B C ratio was recorded with the application of site specific nutrient management practice. These results are based on one year study; hence they need to be validated by further experimentation before making any final recommendation.
