Abstract: This investigation was carried out to +*ind out the optimum concentration and time of spraying of NAA and Planofix for obtaining maximum fruit and seed yield of Chilli cv. Jwala. The trial was conducted in Factors a] RBI) with three replications and five concentrations (10, 20, 30, Uo, 50 ppm)each of NAA and Planofix at three times, compared with unsprayed control. Observations regarding growth, flower production, flower type, fruit set, flower an;i fruit drop, fruit yield, seed yield and seed germination were recorded. The growth was influenced by various spray treatmentsas compared to unsprayed control. In genera] earlier sprayings gave better growth and 20 ppm was optimum concentration.Significant effects were recorded on various flowering characters. Earlier flowering, more number of total flowers,short style ^lowers and fruit set and les:: '"] ower and fruitdrop were repealed at 20 ppm concentration rayed on 20thday.
