Abstract: In the present investigation, a total number of 1823 specimens of urinary system of goats, suspected for abnormalities were examined irrespective of age, sex and breeds in North-West Rajasthan. Out of these 1823 specimens, 152 specimens of kidney and 53 specimens of lower urinary tract (ureter, urinary bladder and urethra) suspected for abnormalities were further processed for histopathological examination. The overall occurrence of various pathological conditions of goats urinary system were observed and classified. The various forms of kidney affections were classified as Congestion 13.81 per cent, Haemorrhage 5.92 per cent, Infarction 1.97 per cent, Renal cortical necrosis 3.94 per cent, Hydronephrosis 3.33 per cent, Acute glomerulonephritis 9.87 per cent, Sub acute glomerulonephritis 7.89 per cent, Chronic glomerulonephritis 5.26 per cent, Diffuse interstitial nephritis 13.81 per cent, Focal interstitial nephritis 11.18 per cent, Pyelonephritis 5.92 per cent, Renal abscesses 1.97 per cent, Congenital polycystic kidney 1.97 per cent, Retention cyst 1.31 per cent, Hyaline degeneration 1.31 per cent, Renal amyloidosis 1.97 per cent, Tubular nephrosis 2.63 per cent, Tubercle like lesion 0.66 per cent, Rupture of kidney 3.95 per cent and Renal toxicity 1.31 per cent. The various forms of lower urinary tract affections were classified as Ureteritis 7.55 per cent, Haemorrhage in urinary bladder 7.55 percent, Acute cystitis 5.66 per cent, Chronic cystitis 9.43 per cent, Urolithiasis (cystic calculi) 3.77 per cent and Urethritis 5.66 per cent.
